Parasakthi

Story:

Parasakthi  is an upcoming Tamil-language political period drama directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Dawn Pictures. The film features Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, alongside Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela, who is making her Tamil debut.

Initially, Sudha Kongara planned to collaborate with Suriya after Soorarai Pottru (2020). The project, announced in October 2023 as Suriya 43, was set to star Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma. However, for unknown reasons, the film was shelved. Sudha later revived the script with Sivakarthikeyan replacing Suriya. Officially announced in December 2024 under the working title SK25—marking Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th lead role—the film’s final title was revealed the following month.

Parasakthi is set to be released in theatres by Red Giant Movies.
