Nautanki Saala!

Story:

Nautanki Saala! is a Hindi romantic comedy-drama film from India, directed by Rohan Sippy. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur, alongside Pooja Salvi, Evelyn Sharma, and Gaelyn Mendonca. The storyline is adapted from the 2003 French comedy “Après Vous”.

Produced by Ramesh Sippy, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Roopa de Choudhury under Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. in collaboration with R.S. Entertainment, the film’s first look was unveiled on 2 October 2012.

The soundtrack, featuring compositions by various musicians including Falak, Mikey McCleary, and Rashid Khan, is noted for its romantic and lively tunes. Ayushmann Khurrana also lends his vocals to the soundtrack.

The plot of the film revolves around Ram, a successful theatre artist, saves Mandar from committing suicide. He then ends up developing a special bond with Mandar and even helps solve his problems.

Abhishek Bachchan makes a cameo appearance in the film, at the request of director Rohan Sippy. “Nautanki Saala!” premiered on 12 April 2013 and received positive reviews from critics who praised its comedic elements and the performances of the lead actors.
