Story:

“Mumbai Saga” is a Hindi-language action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by T-Series. The film features a star-studded cast including John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sunil Shetty, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Prateik Babbar, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte, and Gulshan Grover. The soundtrack was composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Payal Dev, and Tanishk Bagchi.

Released on March 19, 2021, the movie is set in the ’80s and ’90s and depicts the changing phases of Mumbai from mills to malls and high-rise buildings. The plot follows Amartya Rao (John Abraham), who confronts powerful elites to claim his rightful place. While primarily focusing on the conflict between Amartya Rao and Senior Inspector Vijay Sawarkar (Emraan Hashmi), the film also explores themes of hope, ambition, friendship, and betrayal. “Mumbai Saga” received mixed to positive reviews from critics but struggled commercially due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
