Mrs. Serial Killer

Story:

The 2020 Indian crime thriller Mrs. Serial Killer, sometimes spelt Mrs. Serial Killer, was written and directed by Shirish Kunder and produced by his wife Farah Khan. Manoj Bajpayee, Mohit Raina, and Jacqueline Fernandez play the main characters in the movie, while Zayn Marie Khan, Aamir Khan’s niece, makes her acting debut. Jacqueline portrays the movie’s title character. On May 1st, May Day, the movie was made available on Netflix.

Plot

Sona announces her pregnancy to her husband, Mrityunjoy Mukherjee (Joy). Sona’s ex-boyfriend, Inspector Imran Shahid, comes to her home to gather evidence against Joy in a case involving serial killings. Sona believes that Imran is merely attempting to set up Joy as a retaliatory act against him for stealing his affection.

The bodies of the six missing girls from the serial murders case were discovered in Joy’s remote home. Before being aborted and dismembered, all of the victims were unmarried and pregnant. When gynaecologist Joy gets arrested, the town’s residents stop respecting him. When Sona, who is adamant that Joy is innocent and that Imran set her up, pays her a visit in prison, Joy advises her to seek the assistance of renowned attorney Mr. Rastogi, whom he has previously rescued. Since all of the evidence against Joy was discovered, the court denied Joy’s request for bail. In order to demonstrate that Joy is not the murderer, Rastogi advises Sona to kill one more girl in the same manner as the six before her.

Sona, who is good-hearted and doesn’t want to harm anyone, eventually consents after being persuaded that there isn’t any other way to establish Joy’s innocence. She decides on Anushka Tiwari, a pregnant unmarried girl who lives next door. When police learn of Anushka’s passing, the court concludes Joy is not the murderer. Bail is given to him.

Sona shows him Anushka, who is still in her captivity, after Joy gets home. didn’t murder her; instead, they discovered an unclaimed body and adorned it to resemble Anushka’s. As Sid, Anushka’s lover, chases them, he discovers that Anushka is still alive in Joy’s clinic’s basement. Sid locks himself in the cupboard while attempting to liberate her.

Joy is gone when Sona awakens in the middle of the night. Upon arriving at the clinic, she discovers Joy preparing to murder Anushka. Now Sona knows that he is the one who killed the six girls. Joy disclosed that his mother abandoned him after being pregnant with him outside of marriage. Joy has always detested unwed mothers, which is why he aborts and dismembers them. Joy uses his scalpel to pin Sona’s hand to the table as she tries to save Anushka. Joy also ties Sid up, but he manages to call Imran, who shows up right away, only to be bound by Joy as well.

In front of them, Joy will now abort and dismember Anushka. After Imran frees himself, Sona helps Sid and Anushka get away. When Sona throws herself in front of Sid and Anushka, Joy unintentionally stabs her during his attempt to kill Anushka. Joy is stabbed by Imran from behind, most likely killing him.

Sona discovers she has lost her child as she awakens in the hospital with Imran at her side. He informs her that since she saved her life, Anushka will not bring a case against her. The doctor saves Joy as well, and she survives, but she leaves the hospital before anyone notices.
