Biography:

Dheena is an Indian actor, comedian and screenwriter who is prominently active in Tamil films. He is known for his roles in the films Thumbaa (2019), Kaithi (2019) and Master (2021) and as a contestant on the Kalakka TV show Povathu Yaaru?

Dheena was a contestant on the show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? on Vijay TV. He made his film debut in Dhanush’s Pa Paandi to audition for the role of Dhanush’s friend. In 2019, he made his debut as the lead actor in Thumbaa. In a Times of India review of the film, the reviewer said the film delivered “a comedic performance for sure”. In 2019, he played a comedy role in Kaithi. Regarding her role, India Today’s Janani K said that “Dheena’s role gives the film much-needed appeal”.

His next film as the lead actor will be the movie Ajith From Aruppukottai. The film is remade by Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan and will be produced by Dhanush.
