The protagonist of the tale is Heer Wallia, a young Punjabi woman who relocates to the UK after her mother passes away. She makes an effort to handle the expectations associated with her family’s heritage while pursuing her passion for cooking in the UK. Her attempts to adjust to a new environment and deal with cultural and personal obstacles are shown throughout the story.
