Plot
Aditya, also known as Aadi, is a failing boxer who, in spite of his exceptional potential, is a victim of the unscrupulous politics inside the boxing community. Many years later, Aadi is still furious and upset with the selection process as she coaches the women’s boxing teams.
Owing to a falling out with the association’s chairman, Dev Khatri, he is moved to Vizag and falsely accused of sexual harassment. Aadi, together with his assistant coach Punch Ponds, discovers ability in Rameswari, also known as Ramulu, a roadside vegetable vendor, while she is thrashing the judges during her sister’s tournament, despite the extremely poor infrastructure.
Aadi agrees to coach Rameswari for four hours every day, ignoring her older sister Lakshmi, often known as Lux, who has been boxing for eight years. However, because of Rameswari’s violent demeanor and Aadi’s harsh training techniques, the two are not friendly.
Rameswari purposefully loses a local match as a result. Later, Aadi begs the parents of Lakshmi and Rameswari to send them to live with him in a dormitory so that their daughters can dedicate themselves fully to their training. Though Rameswari misinterprets him, she eventually comes to regret it when she learns that Aadi sold his bike to pay for new training gear for her.
After that, Rameswari begins training with Aadi very seriously and devotedly and grows fond of him. She tells Aadi how she feels on the day of a qualifying match, and he rejects her right away. Lakshmi, who is now envious of her sister, hurts Rameswari’s hand during the pre-match warm-up, which results in Rameswari losing. Aadi dismisses Rameswari from training camp, believing that she lost on purpose once more.
Taking advantage of the circumstance, Dev Khatri summons Rameswari to Delhi for a cultural exchange match, forcing her to compete against a heavyweight Russian boxer who quickly knocks her out. Next, Dev Khatri approaches a demoralized Rameswari with an inappropriate proposal, to which she responds by hurting him. In retaliation, Dev Khatri has her arrested on suspicion of fake theft.
She’s saved and bailed out by Aadi. In order to secure Rameswari a wild-card entry into the World Boxing Championship, he later drives her to Delhi. Rameswari wins the semifinal after putting in a lot of effort. On the day of the finals, Dev Khatri crosses Rameswari off the list and demands that Aadi step down right now if he wants to see Rameswari face the Russian boxer who stopped her in Delhi.
Even though Rameswari makes it to the last round, he is devastated to hear about Aadi’s departure. Before Aadi arrives at the stadium and tells her to target her opponent’s arms in an attempt to weaken her, she keeps losing points in the early rounds and sustains serious injuries.
In the last round, with seconds remaining, Rameswari executes the game plan and takes out his opponent. Dev Khatri makes a hasty attempt to claim that he trained Rameswari. Nevertheless, she strikes him, rushes over to embrace Aadi, and displays the tearful reunion of a teacher and pupil.
