Story:

Dongata is a 2015 Telugu-language film that blends laughs and thrills in equal measure. Directed by Vamsy Krishna and co-written with Mohan Bharadwaj, the film boasts witty dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. Lakshmi Manchu and Adivi Sesh take center stage as the unlikely leads, supported by seasoned veterans like Brahmanandam, Madhunandan, and Prabhakar. Venkat and Vijju, Kattam Raju’s bumbling protégés, pull off the audacious kidnapping of actress Shruthi. Hiding her in Vijju’s boss Brahmi’s apartment backfires spectacularly when Brahmi, unbeknownst to them, returns as a private detective hired to solve the case. Chaos erupts as Brahmi discovers the captive right under his nose, leading the kidnappers to become his reluctant servants. After comical misadventures, a fight with the real villain reveals a shocking truth: Shruthi orchestrated her own abduction.

In the past Shruthi, an orphan, befriends Venkat. Kattam Raju and Vijju join their circle, and the quartet becomes inseparable. Shruthi vows to buy back their orphanage, promising Ragava Rao a hefty sum within ten days. Venkat, harboring a secret dream of escaping to Dubai, steals the money after acquiring it.

In a twist, Shruthi confronts him about his plan, unaware that Kattam Raju and Vijju, through cunning maneuvers, have stolen the money themselves. Bidding farewell to a clueless Venkat, the three friends leave him behind, victorious and reunited.
