Karan Romesh Sharma, born on October 26, 1981, is an Indo-Mauritian actor with a notable presence in the Indian film industry. His singular cinematic venture came in the form of the 2005 Bollywood film “Dil Jo Bhi Kahey…,” a significant production directed and co-produced by his father, Romesh Sharma, and featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

In addition to his Bollywood debut, Karan Sharma showcased his acting skills in the 2003 Mauritian series “C’est la vie,” which was broadcast in Mauritius, expanding his footprint in the world of television.

Karan Sharma’s personal life is intertwined with the illustrious lineage of Indian cinema. As the son of renowned film producer Romesh Sharma, he has inherited a legacy deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. His marital journey includes a previous marriage to Aliksha Anand, the daughter of Indian film director Mukul S. Anand. Presently, Karan Sharma is married to Indu Kumar Sharma, adding another chapter to his family’s connection with the film fraternity. Indu Kumar Sharma is the daughter of Rakesh Sharma, a director known for films such as “Mr. Natwarlal,” “Do Aur Do Paanch,” “Khoon Pasina,” and “Yaarana,” among others.
