TheatreCaste-based love dramas are more common in Tamil, while they are uncommon in Telugu. On the other hand, a love tale in a soon-to-be-released Telugu film is set against the backdrop of caste prejudice. Dhandoraa, a compelling socio-satirical drama set in rural Telangana, is the movie under debate. Today, the first look was made public under the moniker “First Beat.” The phrase that opens the glimpse states that a person’s caste determines their lives from birth to death.
Caste has traditionally separated society, but can love transcend it? Dhandoraa poses numerous such queries. A few newspaper cuttings on honour killings are shown in the first beat. This daring and provocative movie illuminates a love tale marred by discrimination in society.
Dhandoora has the support of Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, who funded the 2012 comedy Bedurulanka and the National Award-winning feature Colour Photo.Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, and Anusha are among the excellent actors in the movie. Mark K. Robin is the musician, while Muralikanth is the director. The movie will be released in 2025, and filming is currently underway. Stay tuned for additional Dhandoraa updates.
