Srujana Adusumilli

Biography:

Srujana Adusumilli, a film editor hailing from Hyderabad, Telangana, India, holds a degree in film editing from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). She completed her high school education at Shri Venkateshwara Bala Kuteer School and earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo, where she received accolades for Best Teaching Assistant and Best Master’s Thesis. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from KL University.

Adusumilli has worked as an assistant to renowned film editor Sreekar Prasad and currently works as a freelancer on various projects. She is deeply passionate about cinema, finding it immersive and experiential. Her goal is to expand her expertise across different cinematic forms and collaborate with diverse filmmakers. She aims to use her editing skills to bring directors’ visions to life on screen.

Her portfolio includes a range of projects such as visual advertisements (teasers and trailers), feature films, web series, corporate AVs, and short films. Her practical experience alongside Sreekar Prasad has allowed her to develop her editing abilities and gain insight into industry procedures, from screenplay to the finished DCP.

Adusumilli has served as an internal editor on several projects. Notably, she has contributed to the films “Chase,” “Aakashavaani” (2021), and “Modern Love Hyderabad” (2022), showcasing her skills and versatility as an editor in the industry.
