TheatreVishnuvardhan is the writer and director of the 2005 Indian Tamil-language crime action film Arinthum Ariyamalum, which translates to “Knowingly and Unknowingly.” In addition to newbies Arya and Sameksha and stars Navdeep and Prakash Raj, important parts are played by Adithya, Sangili Murugan, Krishna, and Yog Japee. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the movie. The film was made by “Punnagai Poo” Gheetha, an RJ of THR Raaga, a Malaysian radio station.
The movie opened in theaters on May 20, 2005. After 175 days at the box office, it was concluded. Afterwards, the movie won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for Arya. In 2006, it was remade as Prema Rutu Asilare in Odia. The movie was released on Blu-ray in the UK in 2015.
A simple Brahmin youngster named Satya travels to Chennai from Nagercoil to enroll in an engineering institution. His issues start to surface one by one when he meets his father, the hated don Adhi Narayanan, and Kutty, the latter’s ferocious adoptive son. Inadvertently hurt during a firefight between Adhi’s gang and his enemies is Sandhya, Satya’s girlfriend.
Satya is prepared to point the finger at Kutty at the behest of ACP Thiagarajan. Disoriented and feeling threatened by the gang, Satya is taken aback when Adhi abruptly reverses course and approaches him, expressing a sense of connection. Satya’s life takes a dramatic and humorous turn when Kutty also goes crazy with his overprotective, brotherly mentality.
