Story:

Sree Vishnu embodies a dedicated officer in “Alluri,” a gripping 2022 Telugu cop drama directed by Pradeep Varma. Alongside Kayadu Lohar, they tackle thrilling challenges in this Telugu-language film.

The movie commences with Iqbal, an aspiring police officer exhausted from multiple failed attempts at police exams, breaking free with his father Naseeruddin, a retired constable. Naseeruddin, aiming to motivate Iqbal, shares the inspiring story of Alluri Sita Ramaraju, an upright, courageous, and intelligent police officer.

In an effort to provide Iqbal with firsthand knowledge, Naseeruddin sends him to the Kothavalasa police station. During his time there, Iqbal witnesses the commendable and honest actions of Sub-Inspector Ramaraju.

The narrative unfolds with Iqbal, a police aspirant, joining the force and rejecting a bribe, sparking conflict with his corrupt superior. Inspired by his father Naseeruddin’s tale of the principled officer Alluri Sita Ramaraju, Iqbal witnesses Ramaraju’s integrity at Kothavalasa police station.

Despite pressure, Ramaraju upholds justice and faces consequences. Transferred to a Naxalite area, he wins their support, leading to the construction of a police station.

Iqbal learns about Ramaraju’s transfers and personal life. In Vizag, Ramaraju challenges a corrupt MP, confronts a notorious rowdy, and faces suspension for standing against corruption. The story unfolds with Ramaraju’s impactful policing and tragic end, leaving a lasting impression on Iqbal. In the present, Iqbal discovers Ramaraju’s fate and seeks answers from the commissioner, unveiling a tale of bravery, justice, and sacrifice.

However, one fateful day, Ali and his terrorist group seize control of a school, where several celebrity children, including the commissioner’s daughters, are enrolled. Ali demands the release of the terrorists previously arrested by Ramaraju’s team.

While higher officials contemplate involving NSG commandos, Ramaraju persuades the commissioner to conduct the operation independently, selecting top cadets for a covert attack on the terrorists.

They eliminate the terrorists discreetly, fooling Ali into thinking his men are still present. Doubtful, Ali threatens Ramaraju, leading to a confrontation where Ramaraju is fatally injured. In a poignant twist, a CD reveals Ramaraju’s heroic sacrifice, earning him posthumous respect and salutes from all who witnessed his selfless act.

The film concludes with Iqbal, inspired by Ramaraju, saluting his photo and resolving to pursue his ambitions.
