Ahishor Solomon, born on March 18, 1979, is an accomplished Indian film writer and director who has contributed to both Hindi and Telugu language films. He embarked on his career as an Assistant Director, assisting in the production of movies such as “Paap” and “Rog.” Later, he served as the Chief Assistant Director for the film “Darna Zaroori Hai.”
In 2013, Solomon made his directorial debut in the Hindi movie “John Day,” featuring acclaimed actors Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda. Additionally, he showcased his talents as a co-writer for Telugu films, including “Oopiri” starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and the 2019 blockbuster “Maharshi” featuring Mahesh Babu, 2021 “Wild Dog,” starring Akkineni Nagarjuna. Hailing from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Solomon pursued his education, completing a B.Com degree in Kurnool and later studying Mass Communication at the International School of Business and Media in Pune.
