Ace

Story:

Ace is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic crime comedy film from India, written, directed, and produced by Arumuga Kumar under the banner of 7Cs Entertainment. The film features Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles, supported by performances from Yogi Babu, P. S. Avinash, and Babloo Prithiveeraj.

Initially announced in May 2023 with the working title Vijay Sethupathi 51—marking the actor’s 51st lead role—the film’s official title was revealed a year later. Principal photography began in May 2023 and concluded in November of the same year, with most of the shooting taking place in Malaysia.

The film’s music has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran, while the background score is provided by Sam C. S. Karan B. Rawat served as the cinematographer, and Fenny Oliver handled the editing. Ace is slated for a theatrical release on 23 May 2025.
