Story:

Vivek Soni is the director of the 2025 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film Aap Jaisa Koi (which translates to “Someone Like You”), which is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment for Netflix. It features Fatima Sana Shaikh as the lively French teacher Madhu Bose and R. Madhavan as the cautious middle-aged Sanskrit professor Shrirenu Tripathi.

The narrative centers on the romance between middle-aged Sanskrit professor Shrirenu Tripathi of Jamshedpur and Madhu Bose, a French teacher from Kolkata. The brother, sister-in-law, and niece of Shrirenu make up the Tripathi family. Madhu’s mother, maternal uncle, maternal grandmother, and two maternal aunts with ghar jamais spouses make up the Bose family. The lovers differ in a number of ways:

Madhu comes from a matriarchal family, while Shrirenu is from a patriarchal one. Madhu engages in sexual activity, but Shrirenu is a virgin.
