Saheb Chatterjee, also known as Shaheb Chattopadhyay, is a Bengali Indian actor and singer in Tollywood Bangla and Bengali television. He is a graduate of Dakshinee, a renowned Rabindrasangeet institution in Kolkata.
His talent shines through both his acting and singing, with a particular emphasis on Tagore songs, or Rabindra Sangeet, and various Bengali film genres. On television, he is recognized for his roles in the Bengali TV series “Goyenda Ginni” on Zee Bangla, where he portrays Dr. Porimal Mitra, the husband of the main character Parama Mitra, and in the serial “Potol Kumar Ganwala” on Star Jalsha, where he plays the role of singer Sujon Kumar. Additionally, he appeared as the Bhawal king in “O Tar Sannashi Rani,” a Bengali TV show also aired on Star Jalsha. Moreover, he took part in the reality show “Dadagiri” on December 30, 2017.
