Biography:

Beena Banerjee, also known as Beena or Bina, is an Indian actress renowned for her work in Bengali and Hindi films as well as television. She was born in February 1943 as Beena Batabyal and is the daughter of the well-known film actor Pradeep Kumar (1925–2001). Throughout her career, Beena has made significant contributions to the world of Indian entertainment, leaving her mark in both regional and national cinema.

In her personal life, Beena Banerjee was married to Ajoy Biswas, an actor and film director, but the two eventually separated. Together, they have a son named Siddharth Banerjee, who ventured into the film industry as an assistant director, working on projects such as “Housefull 2” (2012) and “Himmatwala” (2013), where he collaborated with director Sajid Khan. Beena’s family background and her own accomplishments in the entertainment industry have made her a notable figure in Indian cinema.
