Is ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ Scheduled For Release On July 18th?

Lyca Productions has communicated to distributors that “Indian 2” (also known as “Bharateeyudu 2” in Telugu) will not release in June as initially planned but has been rescheduled for July due to post-production requirements.

Director Shankar has been balancing between shooting for “Game Changer” and overseeing the post-production of “Indian 2”, causing the delay.

The production company has decided on a release in the third week of July, with an official announcement on the new date forthcoming. It is highly anticipated that July 18th will be the confirmed release date.

“Bharateeyudu 2” is the sequel to the 1990 blockbuster “Bharateeyudu/Indian” directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan.

Intriguingly, Shankar has also progressed significantly with the filming of “Indian 3”.

Kamal Haasan will reprise his role as Senapathy, a freedom fighter, in this sequel. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Siddharth in pivotal roles, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
