Vidharth is an Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. He embarked on his acting career in 2001, initially taking on uncredited roles. However, his breakthrough came with his first significant role in the film “Mynaa” in 2010, which turned out to be a massive success. Vidharth’s talent was further recognized when he appeared in AVM Productions’ “Mudhal Idam” in 2011.
Before gaining recognition in the film industry, Vidharth honed his acting skills through involvement in the drama troupe, Koothu-P-Pattarai, where he learned the nuances of acting. Despite his early appearance in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s “Minnale” in 2001, he struggled to secure substantial roles. However, after a decade of persistence, director Prabhu Solomon noticed his potential and cast him in films like “Kokki,” “Lee,” and “Laadam.” It was Prabhu Solomon who eventually gave Vidharth the lead role in the successful romantic drama “Mynaa,” which marked a turning point in his career.
Vidharth’s career continued to flourish with roles in various films such as “Kollaikaran,” “Jannal Oram,” and “Veeram.” In 2016, he delivered a noteworthy performance in the psychological crime thriller “Kuttrame Thandanai.” His success continued with films like “Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu” and “Kurangu Bommai” in 2017. Vidharth has also played supporting roles in several other films, including “Magalir Mattum,” “Vizhithiru,” and “Kodiveeran.” In his personal life, he got married to Gayathri Devi in June 2015, and the couple welcomed a daughter in 2017.
