T. Rajendar

Biography:

Thesingu Rajendar is an Indian actor, filmmaker, musician, cinematographer, and distributor who mostly works in the Tamil film industry. He is also known by the names Vijaya T. Rajendar and T. R. He is a politician in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai as well. Rajendar has a reputation for speaking in rhymes on the spur of the moment.

Usha Rajendar, a former actress, is the wife of T. Rajendar.They have one daughter, Ilakiya, and two sons, Kuralarasan and Silambarasan. Several of his films, like the 2002 Silambarasan feature Kadhal Azhivathillai, were produced by his wife.

Rajendar began his career in the Tamil cinema business, starring in hit movies as an actor, playback singer, dancer, and screenwriter. He became well-known for his distinctive acting style. In addition to acting, he frequently works as a director, lyricist, art director, production manager, and playback singer.

All of his 1980s films were huge hits that played for years on end, and the songs were likewise well regarded. He is renowned for bringing in fresh talent for his films; several of the women who made their debuts with him, including as Amala, Nalini, Jyothi, Jeevitha, and Mumtaj, have gone on to achieve success in South Indian cinema.
