Shariq Hassan

Shariq Hassan, born on December 7, 1994, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is an Indian actor renowned for his appearances in Tamil films and television shows. He is recognized for his role as a negative character in the 2016 movie “Pencil.”

Shariq is the son of the well-known Indian actor Riyaz Khan and actress Uma Riyaz Khan. His educational journey led him to attend A V Meiyappan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where he completed his 12th grade. Subsequently, he pursued his high school education, setting the stage for his future career.

Shariq’s foray into the world of cinema commenced with his debut in the Tamil film “Pencil” in 2016, where he portrayed a negative character. The film not only performed well at the box office but also garnered critical acclaim. It enjoyed a successful run in theaters, surpassing 40 days, and left a positive impression on both audiences and critics.

In 2018, Shariq made his entry into the television industry as a contestant on “Bigg Boss” (Tamil season 2).
