Biography:

Suresh Krishna, born on April 5, 1973, is a versatile Indian actor known for his comedic roles, earlier negative character performances, and character roles in the film industry. He gained recognition for his roles in films like “Manju Poloru Penkutti,” “Christian Brothers,” “Pazhassi Raja,” and “Kutty Srank.”

Born in Guruvayoor, Thrissur, Suresh Krishna is the youngest of six children. His father worked with the Tamil Nadu Government’s irrigation department, which led the family to migrate to Tamil Nadu. He received his education in Chennai. Suresh Krishna is married to Sree Lakshmi, a professor, and they have two children. They currently reside in Thrippunithura.

Suresh Krishna’s career began with a role in a Tamil serial on Doordarshan in 1990. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of the legendary Thiruvalluvar in 1995. While working in Tamil films and television, he made his Malayalam debut with the serial “Sthree Janmam.” His notable roles include Balashankar in “Swapnam” and Surya in “Orma,” both of which earned him critical acclaim and awards. In 1993, he entered the Malayalam film industry with “Chamayam” and went on to act in various Malayalam films, collaborating with renowned directors and stars.

Suresh Krishna is particularly noted for his character roles and strong negative portrayals in films, earning him accolades and recognition in the industry. In 2014, he showcased his acting abilities in the film “Njan,” directed by Renjith. Additionally, Suresh Krishna ventured into film production through Thakkali Films, collaborating with industry professionals like Biju Menon, Shajoon Kariyal, Sachi, and P. Sukumar. Their film “Chettayees,” released in 2012, marked his foray into comedy roles.
