Biography:

Neeti Mohan Sharma, born on November 18, 1979, is a versatile Indian singer known for her contributions to Hindi and Tamil films, with an extensive repertoire spanning Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, and English songs. Born in Delhi, she emerged as a winner on Channel V’s reality show Popstars, leading to her inclusion in the pop group Aasma alongside other show winners. Neeti gained widespread recognition for her rendition of “Ishq Wala Love” in Student of the Year (2012), earning the Filmfare R. D. Burman Award for New Music Talent and a nomination for Best Female Playback Singer for “Jiya Re” in Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Her remarkable talent extended to the soundtrack of Amit Trivedi’s Bombay Velvet (2015), where her performance of six jazz tracks received acclaim from music critics. Neeti Mohan’s second Filmfare nomination came in 2016 for the song “Sau Aasmaan” from Baar Baar Dekho. Beyond singing, she ventured into coaching roles in reality shows, participating in the 1st season of The Voice India Kids and the second season of The Voice India.

Neeti Mohan’s early life in Delhi involved learning music at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, engaging in dramatics and dancing, and participating in various extracurricular activities during her school days. She excelled in singing, dancing, and band performances, earning accolades such as the best cadet in the National Cadet Corps of India.
