Sudarshan Reddy

Biography:

Sudarshan Reddy, popularly known as Nellore Sudarshan, is a Telugu actor and comedian who has earned recognition for his natural humour, expressive performances and memorable supporting roles. Unlike performers who plan their entry into cinema from an early age, Sudarshan’s journey into films happened unexpectedly. He initially considered going abroad and came to Hyderabad to prepare for examinations. However, an opportunity to participate in a short comedy film changed the direction of his life and introduced him to the world of acting.

Sudarshan gradually built his career through small roles before attracting greater attention with films such as Pataas and Kumari 21F. His ability to deliver spontaneous comedy and portray relatable characters helped him become a familiar face in Telugu cinema. He has continued working across different genres, frequently appearing as the protagonist’s friend or as an important supporting character. His performance in Ek Mini Katha earned him the SIIMA Award for Best Comedian in Telugu in 2022.

Rather than pursuing lead roles at every opportunity, Sudarshan has spoken about his preference for choosing characters that suit his strengths. His growing body of work reflects his contribution to Telugu films as a dependable supporting performer. With projects including AH, he continues to expand his presence in the industry.
