Sonia Bose

Biography:

South Indian actress Sonia Bose has acted in numerous Malayalam films and television series. She was created on June 4th, 1977. In 2003, she wed Tamil film actor Bose Venkat, who was also an actor. The couple currently has two children, a son named Tejaswin and a daughter named Bavatharani. The brother of Sonia works as an actor in the Tamil film business. The actress began her acting career at the extremely young age of three and was hired as a child actor in numerous shows. Her most recent films are the 2011 film Sarkar Colony, the 2012 films Mullassery Madhavan Kutty Nemom P. O. and Housefull, and the 2013 film Ellam ChettanteIshtam Pole.

She debuted as a child artist in a Malayalam film Ival Oru Naadody. She was awarded Kerala State Film Award by Kerala Government for Best Child Artist for the movie Nombarathi Poovu in 1987. She was also awarded National Film award for Best Child Artist for My Dear Kuttichathan in the year 1984. She not only acts in Malayalam movies but also in many Tamil, Kannada, Telegu flicks. The actress is not only blessed with acting skills but also with a soulful voice. She has sung many songs like Muthevavamuthamthatha song in a Malayalam film Oru Madapravinte Katha.

As the actress is blessed with a soulful voice she has given her voice to many artists. The actress has worked in various TV series like Shri Ayappanum Vavarum, VeeraMarthandaVarma, and Avakaashikal which were aired on SURYA TV. She has also worked in many Tamil serials like , My Name Is Mangamma, , Chellamay, Muhurtham, and Madhavi. She also has a huge collection of Malayalam movies in which she acted as the lead cast. She has also worked in many Tamil movies. She has worked in many Malayalam movies like Manoratham which released in 1978, Ival Oru Naadody in 1979, Moorkhan in 1980.

Other movies include Mister Butler which was released in 2000, Aparanmaar Nagarathil in 2000, Bamboo Boys released in 2002, Sound of Boot in 2008, Therukoothu in 2009, Raama Raavanan in 2010.
