Simple Suni

Biography:

An Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema is Sunil Kumar, better known by his stage name Simple Suni. The 2013 film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, which was both critically and commercially successful, marked his debut.

Suni began his professional career working as an assistant director for Dinesh Baboo at Janumada Gelathi. He eventually became an associate director for Dinesh Baboo in School Master and other films while concurrently working on Januma Janumadallu under Prema. After that, he concentrated on a few short films, but Simple Agi Ondh Love Story was the result of his decision to become an independent filmmaker. A couple of pals, Pawan Sagar and Suni, made the decision to become independent and invest their own funds to create Simple Agi Ondh Love Story on a budget of roughly ₹30 to 40 lakhs after producers demanded that he reduce expenses with each script.
