Biography:

Actor, TV personality, and YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswanth Kandregula is from India. His most well-known roles are those of “Surya” in Surya and “Shannu” in the YouTube series The Software DevLOVEper. He has more than 4.3 million subscribers to his YouTube channel as of April 2023. The Viva and The Software Engineer 2.0 are two of his other well-known videos.

In Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, on September 16, 1994, Shanmukh Jaswanth was born. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Visakhapatnam’s Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management.His brother, Vinay Shanmukh, directed Viva with the help of Sabarish Kandregula, a director of YouTube web series and one of the creators of the “Viva” YouTube channel. Shanmukh portrayed a number of humorous characters in short films. In Season 5 of BigBoss, he came in second.

In 2013, Shanmukh made his screen debut in the viral video The Viva, playing two roles. He performed in the short video as “Shannu” among other roles. Since then, Shannu has been a common name for him. In 2012, he launched his own YouTube channel. He posted a few comedic movies, short flicks, and dance covers in the early going.

After that, Shanmukh made appearances in a number of other Infinitum Media products, including series, dance covers, and short films. He continued to appear in videos for the “Viva” channel on a regular basis, most notably as one of the two news readers on Viva News. Playing the role of “Shannu” in the K. Subbu-directed YouTube series The Software DevLOVEper, was his big break. The show debuted on July 31, 2020, and was made available on his YouTube channel. When it was released, the public and critics responded to it in a big way.

Due to the series’ popularity, he went on to appear in a small number of TV episodes. Then, on February 16, 2021, he had an appearance in the popular series Surya, which debuted on his channel. Sakshi Post referred to him as the “first Telugu YouTuber” with four million subscribers in September 2021. His most recent student web series is now receiving a lot of views on YouTube and was a big success there as well.

Shanmukh debuted in the video game Cash 2.0. After that, he took part in Bigg Boss 5, a reality television program, and finished the season as runner-up.
