Biography:

Sandeep Francis, a prominent figure in Bollywood, is recognized for his skills as an editor. His journey in the industry began in 2005 with his debut as an assistant editor in the movie “Mangal Pandey: The Rising,” a biopic on the renowned Freedom Fighter. Subsequently, in 2006, he gained acclaim for editing the hit comedy film “Taxi Number 9211,” starring John Abraham and Nana Patekar.

The prosperous year of 2007 saw Sandeep contributing to six films in various editorial roles. Notably, he served as the promo editor in “Red: The Dark Side” and as an assistant director in “Hattrick.” In “Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi,” he assumed the role of an assistant director, while in “MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar,” he held the position of an associate director. Additionally, he served as the main editor for “Red: The Dark Side” and “Fear.”

In 2008, Sandeep continued to make his mark as a promo editor and editor in the movie “Superstar.” The following year, he served as the promo editor for “What’s Your Rashee” and played dual roles as the promo and lead editor for the critically acclaimed and successful film “Fast Forward.”

The year 2010 saw Sandeep as the promo editor for “Tum Milo Toh Sahi.” In the same year, he took on the role of head editor for two films, namely “Right Yaa Wrong” and “Allah Ke Bande.” Moving into 2011, he contributed as the promo editor for the movie “Azaan,” which received critical acclaim and nominations for various awards. In the same year, he edited the short film “God Is Dead.”

Sandeep’s impact continued in 2014, where he played a pivotal role as an additional editor for the Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer “Kick” and edited the movie “Manjunath,” based on a true incident. Both films achieved considerable success. In 2016, he edited the debut film of Yo Yo Honey Singh, “Zorawar,” and the movie “Mohenjo Daro,” starring Hrithik Roshan, which generated significant buzz in the industry.
