Sachin Krishn

Biography:

Sachin Krishn is an Indian cinematographer and filmmaker who works in Hindi films and digital entertainment. He started his career as a cameraman and made his name as one of the best cinematographers in Bollywood. Some of the renowned film directors that he has worked with include Prakash Jha. He has served as the cinematographer for popular films like Aarakshan (2011), Chakravyuh (2012), Satyagraha (2013), Jai Gangaajal (2016), and Pareeksha (2020). His cinematography has been known to give the films real aesthetic sense, interesting frame and emotional stories through drama, political thrillers, and social films.

His transition into being a film director can be seen through his directorial efforts on Hostages (Season 2) which was based on the Israeli thriller for Disney+ Hotstar and the 2022 SonyLIV’s action thriller Tanaav which was the Indian remake of the popular Israeli series Fauda. His efforts as a cinematographer and director showcase the skill and talent that he has when it comes to the aspect of visual storytelling. Known for his excellent visual style, technical prowess and adaptability with various films and streaming platforms, Sachin Krishn has proved himself as one of the best filmmakers in India.
