Roshan Basheer is an accomplished Indian film actor who has made his presence felt in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil language films.
In his professional journey, Roshan initiated his acting career with a lead role in the Malayalam coming-of-age film “Plus Two” (2010), marking his debut in the industry. Although the movie “Plus Two” didn’t achieve significant commercial success, Roshan continued his involvement in the film industry by taking on supporting roles in subsequent years. Some of these roles included appearances in films like “Banking Hours” (2012), “Tourist Home” (2013), and “Red Wine” (2013). However, his pivotal break arrived when he portrayed a crucial villainous character in the successful film “Drishyam” (2013), directed by Jeethu Joseph. This role paved the way for his involvement in the Telugu version of the film, titled “Drushyam” (2014), and later the Tamil version, “Papanasam” (2015), which starred Kamal Haasan.
Following the triumph of these films, Roshan Basheer ventured into additional lead roles in small-budget films, exemplified by projects like “Kubera Rashi” and “Moondru Rasigargal.” Roshan’s diverse acting repertoire has solidified his position as a talented and versatile actor across multiple languages.
