Robbie Brenner

Biography:

Currently employed with the toy and entertainment firm Mattel, Robbie Brenner is an American media executive and producer of movies and television shows. On September 6, 2018, she was appointed leader of the company’s filming business, Mattel Films. On June 2, 2025, Mattel promoted her to her present role as president and chief content officer of Mattel Studios as part of a merger with its Mattel Television subsidiary.

Brenner created the live-action version of the Mattel fashion doll Barbie, which was co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig. Warner Bros. Pictures released the film on July 21, 2023, and it made over $1.4 billion and broke several worldwide box office records.
