Ramesh Khanna is an Indian actor and film director renowned for his work in Tamil cinema. Born on November 30, 1955, in Chennai, he exhibited his acting talent from a very young age. Khanna began his career in R. S. Manohar’s drama troupe at the age of 5, performing in over 1000 dramas by the time he was 10 years old. His remarkable talent was even recognized and appreciated by Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was the President of India at that time.

In his cinema career, Ramesh Khanna initially worked as an assistant to various directors, including Karaikudi Narayanan, Pandiarajan, Kodi Ramakrishna, Vikraman, and K.S. Ravikumar. He gained prominence when director Vikraman introduced him as a comedian in the film “Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen” (1998).
