R.R.Venkat began his career as an producer in the year 2004 Andhrawala. After that he produced some wonderful movies like Samanyudu, Maayajaalam, Victory, Kick, Prema Kavali, Don Seenu, Mirapakay, Businessman, Lovely, Damarukam, Paisa. He has produced Bollywood Movies like Ek Hasina Thi, James. He has also produced Hollywood Movie Divorce Invitation in the year 2012. He died in the year 2021 due to some Kidney Problem.

In recognition of his contributions as a social worker, Venkat got an honorary doctorate from the University of Colombo’s open International University for Complementary Medicines in 2011.

A remake of S. V. Krishna Reddy’s Srikanth and Ramya Krishnan starrer Aahwanam, the 2012 English film Divorce Invitation, starring Jonathan Bennett and directed by the veteran S. V. Krishna Reddy, marked his entry into Hollywood.

On September 27, 2021, at the age of 54, Venkat passed away in Hyderabad from “kidney-related issues.”
