Pooran Kiri, an Indian film and television actor, is most notably recognized for his portrayal of the character Suresh Aggarwal in the 2014 Star Plus television series, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His professional journey has been marked by diverse experiences and a multifaceted career.

Early in his career, Kiri began as a video editor, where he lent his skills to a news channel. His editing expertise provided him with valuable experience in the media industry. He also worked with a news channel in Chhattisgarh, further honing his craft in video editing. However, his talents extended beyond the editing room. Kiri’s passion for performing led him to participate in over 200 street plays and numerous stage shows, showcasing his skills as a mimicry artist and event host.

In 2002, Kiri took a significant step in his artistic journey by joining the theater group IIFTA in Chhattisgarh Madhya Pradesh. This marked a pivotal moment in his career, as it provided him with a platform to refine his acting abilities and connect with the world of theater. Despite starting relatively late in the industry, Kiri’s dedication and perseverance eventually paid off when he secured his first significant role in the daily soap Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya on STAR Plus in 2011.
