Born on May 14, 1987, in Mumbai, India, she began her career as a model, gracing numerous advertisements and fashion shows. In 2016, she switched from using her stage name to her pet name Nyra to avoid confusion with fellow actress and contemporary Madhurima Tuli. She said, “I don’t want any association with my old name ‘Madhuurima’,” in an interview with The Times of India. In fact, I want everyone to start referring to me as Nyra.

Nyra made her acting debut in 2010 with the Tamil film “Vallinam.” However, it was her role in the popular Hindi television series “Divya Drishti” that brought her widespread recognition.
