Neelam Upadhyaya

Neelam Upadhyaya, born on 5 October 1993, is a talented Indian actress renowned for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Originally from Mumbai, Neelam has familial ties, including an elder brother based in India, married with a son, and a sister settled in Australia, married to a businessman.

Neelam’s entry into the world of acting began with the opportunity to feature in “Seivathu Sariye” in 2010. However, the film faced delays and was eventually shelved. Her breakthrough came when her portfolio for MTV’s Style Check garnered significant attention, leading to offers from filmmakers. In 2012, Neelam Upadhyaya made her acting debut in Telugu cinema with “Mr. 7,” which received mixed reviews and did not perform exceptionally well at the box office.

Continuing her journey in the film industry, Neelam appeared in the first 3D Telugu film, “Action 3D” (2013). She later ventured into Tamil cinema with films like “Unnodu Oru Naal” (2013) and the ghost-themed “Om Shanthi Om” (2015), where she starred opposite Srikanth. While the former gained attention for its bold theme, the latter faced a delayed release. Despite both films having low-profile releases and not achieving significant commercial success, Neelam Upadhyaya’s performances showcased her acting prowess.
