Indian actor Ramdoss, best known by his stage name Munishkanth, performs in Tamil-language motion pictures. He starred in several well-known movies, such as Raatchasan (2018), Maanagaram (2017), Mundasupatti (2014), and Maragadha Naanayam (2017).
In 2002, Ramdoss moved from Oddanchatram to Chennai in the hopes of making a big movie acting career. He worked as a junior artist for a number of years. Unable to find a breakthrough right once, he spent two years working as a jeweler in Malaysia before coming back to Chennai, where he frequently slept on the streets at Vadapalani temple. At his friend Kaali Venkat’s prodding, he started doing short films, frequently playing roles on Kalaignar TV’s Naalaya Iyakkunar show. He also starred in Ram’s original, award-winning short film, Mundasupatti, as the aspiring actor Munishkanth.
Before being offered the opportunity to play Munishkanth in Ram’s feature film debut, Mundasupatti (2014), he continued to work on the periphery of the film business, making brief appearances in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal (2013), C. V. Kumar’s Soodhu Kavvum (2013), and Pizza 2: Villa (2013). With Ramdoss’s performance receiving great praise from critics, the movie became a critical and financial triumph. Since then, “Munishkanth” has been his common name Since then, he has contributed to movies such as Maragadha Naanayam (2017), Pasanga 2 (2015), and 10 Endrathukulla (2015). After costarring with Vishnu Vishal in the criminal mystery film Ratsasan (2018), he became even more well-known.
