Indian actor, motivational speaker, and former military commander Major Mohommed Ali Shah was born on September 23, 1979. The International Film and Entertainment Festival of Australia, of which he is a board member, presented him with an award.
Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd.) was Shah’s father. Actors Imaad Shah and Vivaan Shah are his cousins, while Naseeruddin Shah is his nephew. The Afghan warlord Jan-Fishan Khan, who would later become the Nawab of Sardhana, was his great-great-great-grandfather. Ikbal Ali Shah, Amina Shah, Omar Ali-Shah, and Idries Shah are among his relatives.
Mohommed Ali Shah was a student at Chennai’s Officers Training Academy. Prior to joining the Indian Army in accordance with family custom, Shah worked at a contact center. Shah served in the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir as a young lieutenant. He received a promotion to captain and was assigned to the North East as the ADC to the General Officer Commanding.
After that, he was sent to the Assam Rifles and advanced to the rank of major. He was a television commentator for Doordarshan for the 2007 Hyderabad-hosted fourth CISM Military World Games. He served five years in the army.
