“Gurram Paapi Reddy,” starring Naresh Agastya and Faria and directed by Murali Manohar Reddy, is a slapstick comedy that was heavily promoted. But did it truly entertain the audience? Let’s see.

Gurram Paapi Reddy Story: “Gurram Paapi Reddy” has a multi-layered narrative filled with constant twists. Just when you think you understand the story, a new turn changes everything. As the plot keeps unfolding, it finally reveals its true core. Simply put, the film revolves around five people who think they are very smart but end up making foolish decisions.

Performances: Naresh Agastya shows good potential as the title character Gurram Paapi Reddy, handling varied scenes and quick reactions well, though his comedy timing needs improvement. Faria suits the silly role, but better dialogues and a Hyderabadi accent could have helped.

Rajkumar Kasireddy gets a few laughs but lacks consistency, while Vamsidhar Goud’s punches feel repetitive. Yogi Babu, Rajendran, and Brahmanandam add little value. Jeevan Kumar appears force-fitted and fails to connect.

Technical Aspects: Arun Raja’s cinematography and Krishna Saurabh’s music are the film’s main technical strengths, adding a fresh tone. However, even with dark humor and slapstick elements, better production design was needed.
