The news that Shanmuga Pandian has signed a new film with director Mithran Jawahar has become a hot topic.
Shanmuga who has been carefully choosing his projects sees this as an important step in his career especially as he wants to build his own identity beyond his family background.
His recent film Kombuseevi directed by Ponram and starring Sarathkumar, released in theatres on December 19th and is considered a key film for him. Soon after its release the makers announced his next project, showing his intention to move forward quickly in his career.
The upcoming film will again be produced by the Kombuseevi team and directed by Mithran Jawahar, known for films like Yaradi Nee Mohini and Thiruchitrambalam.
The announcement was made during Kombuseevi promotions by Shanmuga Pandian’s mother, Premalatha Vijayakanth. Pre-production is currently underway, with casting and crew selection in progress.
