Meg Ryan, born Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra on November 19, 1961, is a renowned American actress whose career spans over four decades. Ryan embarked on her acting journey in 1981 with her debut in the drama film “Rich and Famous”.

Subsequently, she graced the cast of the CBS soap opera “As the World Turns” in 1982, marking the inception of her television career.

The 1980s ushered Ryan into the limelight with notable roles in films like “Top Gun” and “Promised Land” in 1987, culminating in her unforgettable performance in the romantic comedy classic “When Harry Met Sally…” in 1989, which garnered her a Golden Globe nomination.
