Anandaraj Wiki and Biography: Anandaraj, an Indian actor, is well-known in the Tamil film industry for playing villains. In addition, he made hundreds of appearances in movies that weren’t in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, or Malayalam.

Anandaraj was born in Pondicherry, India, on November 10, 1958. He received his bachelor’s degree from the M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute in Chennai. Due to his lifelong interest for movies, he spent much of his early years riveted to the screen. He decided to enrol in a film school as his next step after high school. He struggled to get work in the film business after graduating, but in 1988, he agreed to star with Prabhu and Sivakumar as the villain in Oruvar Vaazhum Aalayam.
With 1988’s Oruvar Vaazhum Aalayam, starring Prabhu and Sivakumar, Anandaraj had to work hard to get his foot in the door; after that, in 1990, P. Vasu’s En Thangachi Padichava gave him his major break in all four south Indian languages. He co-starred with Prabhu in the Suresh Krishna-directed film Raja Kaiya Vacha (1990), where he once again played the good guy. He did, however, co-star in a number of films with Vijayakanth.
“That one gets popular being a villain, people around you normally pressure you to take the next step, and it was one of such moments when I accepted offers to play the main character,” Anand Raj remarked of his shift into hero roles. He appeared in Kaaval Nilayam, Thambi Oorukku Puthusu, Government Mappillai, Pokkiri Thambi, Kizhakku Veluthathchu, David Uncle, En Rajangam, Puthiya Aatchi, and My India after Palaivana Paravaigal.
