Manjari, a talented singer and performer from India, discovered her passion for music early in life. Her journey began when she performed with a rock band called Shiva in Kolkata during her school days.
She made her mark in the film industry through Ilaiyaraaja’s guidance in the movie “Achuvinte Amma.” With her debut, singing both a duet and a solo, she established herself as a versatile singer. Collaborating with renowned composers across various regional film industries, she lent her melodious voice to over 300 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films. Alongside her playback singing, she released several albums, showcasing her musical range.
Beyond films, Manjari explored Hindustani classical music, performing in concerts globally and excelling in Ghazal singing. She continues to nurture her classical music skills under the guidance of Pandit Ramesh Julé of Kirana Gharana.
