Indian music director Mahesh Shankar was born in Dubai. Mahesh Shankar also spent his early childhood years in Dubai. He has written the music for numerous Telugu cinema productions. He is a director and the chief technology officer of TenTenTen Digital Products.
He is the creator of the fantasy sports website Fandromeda, which features games like football, cricket, kabaddi, and other sports. He attended Chennai’s Venkateswara College of Engineering to study engineering. He also traveled to the USA to complete his master’s degree.
Then, he traveled back to San Jose, California, to work. He was a film scorer at UCLA as well.
He had a deep love for music even as a young child. He is also proficient at the keyboard. Along with working with many notable figures, he has performed in numerous live concerts and stage shows alongside Ganesh Kumaresh, Sivamani, and Selva Ganesh.
He is proficient in Carnatic music as well. Knock Knock I’m Looking to Marry, his debut album, was released in 2003.Vareva, which was published in 2011, Poga, in 2012, D for Dopidi, in 2013, Manamantha, in 2016, and many more are among his compositions.
He has collaborated with major labels such as T-Series and Aditya Music. Mahesh wrote nothing for six years after finishing the soundtrack for the movie “Vennela.” He spent a grueling six years out of the industry. He returned after a six-year hiatus and composed the soundtrack for the film Prayanam.
He also recorded the six songs on the Mugangal album, each of which expresses a different emotion. After a six-year hiatus, he composed music for a few more movies, including Chandra Sekhar Yeleti’s Prayanam and DK and Raj’s Flavors.
In response to a question concerning his six-year hiatus, he stated that music was his pastime prior to Vennela. Following that, something has evolved. Due to family issues, he was unable to pursue his desire to relocate to Hyderabad and work on movies.
Along with it, Prayanam has given him four more movies.He insisted that the movie’s theme and the music had to be related. Music was taken into consideration when writing the screenplay for the film “Prayanam.”
Compared to Vennela, his contribution to Prayanam was significantly greater. Regarding Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, he responded that the two share similar opinions and that Yeleti is a great director and a fascinating person to work with.
Prayanam is a lighthearted and entertaining movie. It has excellent music and stunning visuals. He also completed a UCLA course in film scoring. He learned how to write the music for Hollywood motion pictures there.
Amit Trivedi, Vishal & Shekhar, A.R. Rehman, and many others are his musical idols. He is capable of writing notes and using a keyboard to score music. Additionally, he wrote a Punjabi song for the DK and Raj-directed film “99.”
He also composed the soundtrack for Suman Pathuri’s film Inkosari. He has composed music for several other directors, including Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and Deva Katta.
