Indian actor T. Krishnan, also referred to as Kavithalayaa Krishnan, is well-known for his supporting parts in Tamil cinema and television. He frequently appears in Kavithalayaa Productions’ and K. Balachander’s films and television series, with Kavithalayaa being synonymous with him.
Actor Kavithalayaa Krishnan has performed in more than 120 motion pictures, 60 TV shows, and more than 2500 theatrical productions.
The Tamil Nadu government bestowed upon him the title of Kalaimamani in 2005. Together with Crazy Mohan, a fellow student at the College of Engineering, Guindy, he began performing in stage plays. In Poikkal Kudhirai (1983), he made his screen debut in K. Balachander’s adaptation of Crazy Mohan’s play Marriage Made in Saloon.
