Indian producer K. S. Rama Rao is well-known for his contributions to Telugu cinema.He has worked as a producer on a number of well-known movies, including Mounageetam, Abhilasha (1983), Rakshasudu (1986), Swarnakamalam (1988), Chanti (1992), and Matru Devo Bhava (1993), all under the banner of his production company Creative Commercials.
In Vijayawada, India, where his father ran a textile company, K. S. Rama Rao was born and raised. Rama Rao used to visit the neighborhood movie theaters as a kid to watch the current releases. He was able to watch movies for free because Vijayawada was a center for the film industry and many of his buddies were the sons of theater owners. In 1967, Rama Rao visited Madras and met the filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao.
