American actor, podcaster, and former professional wrestler Aurelian Smith Jr. (born May 30, 1955) is better known by his ring moniker, Jake “the Snake” Roberts. He is a special advisor for All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) community engagement initiative, AEW Together. He has a legendary contract with WWE as well. His two tenures in the World Wrestling Federation (later known as WWE)—the first from 1986 to 1992 and the second from 1996 to 1997—are what made him most famous. He participated in the National Wrestling Alliance in 1983, the World Championship Wrestling in 1992, and the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in Mexico from 1993 to 1994 and again in 1997.
