Indrajith Sukumaran is an Indian actor and singer who mainly works in Malayalam cinema. He was born on December 17, 1979, to actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran. His younger brother, Prithviraj Sukumaran, is also a well-known actor in South Indian cinema.
Indrajith started his acting career as a child artist in the 1986 film “Padayani.” Since then, he has appeared in over 90 films, including notable ones like “Meesa Madhavan” (2002), “Runway” (2004), “Classmates” (2006), “Amen” (2013), “Virus” (2019), “Lucifer” (2019), and “Kurup” (2021).
Apart from Malayalam cinema, Indrajith has also acted in Tamil, English, Telugu, and Hindi films, such as “Before the Rains” (2007), “Sarvam” (2009), and “The Waiting Room” (2010).
He completed his schooling at various schools in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, including Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School, St. Joseph’s Boys School, The NSS Public School, and St. Mary’s Residential Central School. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Rajaas Engineering College in Tirunelveli district. However, he left his job as a software trainee to focus on his acting career.
