Indian actor and playwright Gopal Datt. Prior to landing his first major role in Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Gopal Datt began his career as a theater actor in 1999. He later starred in the National Award-winning Filmistaan and the popular Tere Naam, Samrat & Co.
Gopal Datt completed his high school education in his birthplace of Nainital. His degree was a B.Sc. in Chemistry. Gopal studied in the National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi following his graduation, where he graduated in 1999. He performed in numerous stage plays, ranging from Parsi to Shakespearean Italian. B.V. Karanth is his favorite theatrical director.
After completing his acting training, Gopal Dutt relocated from Delhi to Mumbai. His first break came in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. Following that, he appeared in Tere Naam, Samrat & Co. (2014) directed by Kaushik Ghatak, where he played Chakradhar Pandey and wrote the soundtrack.
He also portrayed Jawaad in the national award-winning movie Filmistaan. He also joined a film festival jury. Gopal has a lengthy history of involvement with the TVF and has worked on numerous web shows. He was a key player in Voot’s Badman and Arre’s Official Chukyagiri. His comedic parts in AIB videos have made him well-known.
